At Close Action we pride ourselves on providing a service where experienced and novice players alike will have an unforgettable day. Groups, teams and individuals are all welcome and will be made to feel at home by our highly trained staff . Our skirmish days provide a variety of experiences that range from short, sharp action-packed games, to longer, themed scenarios where players can use tactics and fieldcraft to achieve set objectives. We have a large team of player-marshalls who ensure that our reputation for fair play and fun gaming is upheld.

Times:

We are frequently asked about timings for our airsoft game days.

Play starts at 10:00, so players need to arrive at around 0900 to get kitted up and ready for the safety briefing at 0945.

Lunch is at around 12:45. Some bring packed lunches, but we now offer lunchtime catering in the form of 1/4lb burgers and jumbo hot dogs. These can be ordered when you sign in, and paid for when collected at lunchtime. Burgers are £2.50 and hotdogs are £1.50.

Afternoon play starts at around 13:30 and continues until 16:30, or a bit earlier when the days are short.

New players

If you are new to the site and have your own gear, bring a mate and get a half price walkon, or bring two mates and get a free game.

We regret that we will no longer be lending out facemasks unless a customer is renting a gun. This has come about because of theft and damage to our masks. High quality masks will be available for sale at £15 each.
